What are the steps to this process?
1) Initial Meeting/ Food Interview – Discuss your family’s needs, taste likes/dislikes and nutritional requirements. This meeting is complimentary.
2) Menu planning – Personalized menus are created around your preferences. These are sent out the week before and you have the opportunity to modify them as you please.
3) Shopping – Personal Chef Gina will purchase local, seasonal foods for meal, as well as any other groceries on your list.
4) Meal Thyme – Cooking, cleaning and packaging of meals in your kitchen.
How long are you in my home cooking?
It all depends on the service, for a “typical meal service” it takes around 4 to 5 hours.
Is there a contract?
No, Quality Thyme believes that the quality of their service will keep you coming back.
Where are the groceries bought?
Grocery shopping can be done at any store that the customer prefers. Typically, shopping is done at Whole Foods Market, Sprouts Farmers Market or Ralphs.
What does my kitchen need?
No special equipment is necessary. Chef Gina brings her own knives and will adapt to the tools you have available. Good storage containers (i.e. Tupperware) are important. Pantry items, such as oil and spices, will be utilized when available.
